Opportunities for SMEs: launch of the help desk for self-production of renewable energy

Starting at 12:00 noon on Friday, 4 April 2025, Italian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) will be able to apply for subsidies for the self-production of electricity from renewable sources.

The Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy has allocated €320 million to support the installation of solar photovoltaic and mini wind turbine systems, with the aim of promoting immediate and, where possible, deferred self-consumption through storage systems. The subsidies will cover up to 40% of the costs for micro and small enterprises and up to 30% for medium-sized enterprises, with an additional 30% for any electricity storage component.

Submission of applications and evaluation

The procedure is based on a ranking system, so it cannot be a click day. Applications for subsidies must be submitted electronically, using the platform provided by Invitalia, from 12 noon on 4 April 2025 until 12 noon on 17 June 2025.
