New Call for Proposals from the Piedmont Region: Opportunities for Businesses in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources

The call for proposals, aimed at Piedmontese companies, promotes energy efficiency, including more rational use of energy, reduction of greenhouse gases and the spread of renewable sources.

The incentives will enable companies to improve the energy efficiency of their production cycles and buildings, reducing CO2 emissions through the installation of renewable energy systems for thermal and electrical energy.

The measures will result in savings in terms of energy costs and, consequently, greater competitiveness for businesses in the markets, with a view to sustainability and combating climate change.

The subsidy, which can cover up to 100% of eligible investment costs, consists of a subsidised loan and a non-repayable grant.

Who can apply?

  • Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs);
  • Large enterprises (LEs).

Registered in the Companies Register and have at least two closed and approved financial statements.

In addition to being the natural continuation of the 2023 Edition, the Call for Proposals is divided into two actions:

II.2.i.2 – Energy efficiency in businesses

  • High-efficiency cogeneration plants
  • Rationalisation of production cycles and efficient use of energy
  • Energy efficiency in commercial buildings
  • Installation of building automation systems
  • Development of innovative processes for energy saving

 II.2ii.2 – Promoting the use of renewable energy in businesses

  • High-efficiency cogeneration plants powered by renewable sources
  • Renewable energy plants for electricity production (hydroelectric and photovoltaic)
  • Renewable energy plants for thermal energy production (environmental energy, heat pumps, geothermal, solar thermal, biomass)
  • Production of green hydrogen from renewable electricity
  • Medium and small-scale energy storage systems

Applications to participate in the Call for Proposals must be submitted via the online procedure available on the Piedmont Region website. Please note that a specific online form must be completed for each action in which you intend to participate.

Until when is it possible to submit the application?
No later than 22 November 2024, unless resources are exhausted earlier.
