MCE Excellence Awards 2024 for the power plant in Borgaro Torinese

The district heating plant in Borgaro Torinese receives recognition from the MCE Excellence Awards 2024

MCE – Expocomfort Exhibition and Conference (Milan), 13 March 2024.

Cogeninfra is proud to announce that it has been recognised for its district heating plant in Borgaro Torinese in the MCE EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2024 – Efficiency & Innovation for Transition Goals, a new feature of this edition dedicated to innovative excellence in systems and plants.

After careful evaluation by the Special Technical Jury chaired by the Politecnico di Milano, our plant was recognised as an excellent example of energy transition, thanks to its status as a hybrid power plant, which uses both biomass and gas as fuel sources. This recognition is an important tribute to our daily commitment to innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.

During the fair, we had visibility through dedicated signage within the exhibition centre and pavilions and on all communication tools used for visitors, such as the Catalogue and Pocket Guide distributed at all event reception desks.

In particular, during the event held on 13 March at the MCE Excellence Awards event area located in Hall 18, we received a dedicated plaque which we displayed at our stand during the days of the fair. The award ceremony was enthusiastically attended by the Chairman, Dr Francesco Vallone, and the Group Managing Director and CEO, Dr Ilaria Cannata.
