Cogeninfra launches STEM Project for young energy talents

At Cogeninfra, we believe that the future of energy lies with the new generations of professionals. That is why we are excited to launch the 2025 edition of the STEM Project, an initiative dedicated to young undergraduates and recent graduates in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics). Our goal is to train the talents of tomorrow and actively involve them in our journey of innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.

Let’s build the future of energy together

Our programme represents an extraordinary opportunity to get in touch with the world of work through practical and educational experience. We offer participants a path of growth within Cogeninfra, with direct experience in the field, support from expert tutors and in-depth knowledge of the most advanced technologies in the energy sector.

During the programme, participants will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects related to the energy transition, developing technical and cross-disciplinary skills that are fundamental to their professional careers.

Who can apply?

The programme is aimed at undergraduates and recent graduates in STEM disciplines who are highly motivated to work in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment. We are looking for talented young people with a strong interest in innovation, excellent problem-solving skills and the awareness that they are protagonists of change.

A structured path for professional growth

To ensure a comprehensive and stimulating training experience, our STEM Project consists of a three-stage programme:

  1. Initial training – An in-depth introduction to our energy transition project and our business processes.
  2. Support from expert tutors – Each participant will be mentored by senior professionals who will guide them through their learning and growth journey.
  3. Monitoring and individual development – Regular feedback and personalised development plans to support each candidate’s professional development.

A unique experience with concrete prospects

Our programme lasts two years and involves placement with an apprenticeship contract. Each resource will be involved in four separate projects, each lasting six months, working on issues that will have a major impact on the future of the energy sector. The main place of work is Borgaro Torinese (Turin), but depending on the projects assigned, travel to our other offices in Latina, Tirano, Assisi, Aosta, Genoa and Alba may be required.
