Cogeninfra Heat Valtellina Achieves ISO 14001 Certification for Sustainability

We are proud to announce that the district heating plants in Valtellina, located in Tirano, Sondalo, and Santa Caterina, have achieved ISO 14001 certification: the highest internationally recognized standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

This certification represents a significant acknowledgment of the production and distribution of thermal energy from virgin biomass plants, the generation of electricity from cogeneration and solar panels, and the maintenance and expansion of distribution networks and user substations.

This milestone reflects our Group’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and the continuous improvement of our operations. Adhering to global best practices means making a tangible contribution to the energy transition and the well-being of our communities.
