Cogeninfra APP hosts FAO delegation

The FAO delegation visits our biogas plant in Aprilia (LT)

On 8 May 2024, Cogeninfra, which specialises in the management of biogas and biomethane plants under an ESCo formula, received an important visit to its biogas plant in Aprilia (LT) from a delegation from the FAO, together with officials from the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture and engineers from the Moroccan company MEDZ.

The meeting proved to be extremely fruitful and stimulating, offering guests a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the development dynamics associated with this type of facility. During the event, participants acquired a direct and thorough understanding of the technologies involved. The main objective is to use this knowledge to promote similar initiatives in Morocco, with a particular focus on connections with wholesale markets.

Also in March, we welcomed an international Serbian-Uzbek delegation, also part of the FAO, which is working on the European Project for the reduction of emissions by 2030.

It is with great pride that we report the important results of these events.

The delegation considered our plant to be an effective and excellent example to be replicated in the field of Climate Smart Agrifood Systems.
