Cogeninfra has undertaken an important initiative for the development and installation of high-temperature heat pumps, an innovative technology that represents a key solution for decarbonisation and increased energy efficiency compared to traditional gas boilers. These heat pumps are capable of producing hot water at temperatures between 70°C and 80°C, allowing them to completely replace gas boilers for heating and domestic hot water production. Thanks to their high efficiency, they represent a viable sustainable alternative that significantly reduces CO₂ emissions, contributing to the fight against climate change. A further advantage of this technology is the Conto Termico incentive scheme, a mechanism that allows part of the investment to be recovered, making these interventions not only environmentally beneficial but also economically sustainable. Areas of application:

• Public buildings and schools: replacement of old heating systems to improve comfort and reduce costs.
• Companies and industrial plants: recovery of process heat, heating and cooling with high-power heat pumps.
• Urban infrastructure and networks: integration of heat pumps into district heating or cooling systems to increase the renewable share of the system.
